The concept focused on the climate-neutral heating of the residual water dryer and that of the two powder curing ovens with biomass in the form of wood chips. A buffer accumulator, which supplies the heat exchangers of a bath heater and a ventilation device, is supplied by the recovered heat from exhaust gas heat exchangers and the hot air boiler cooling.
The coating plant with a manual conveyor and cross-transfer bridge essentially consists of a cleaning booth, a residual water dryer, a manual powder coating booth and two powder curing ovens. The individual surface treatment processes can be driven to directly and multiple times, thus enabling different sequences adapted to the quality requirements.
The parts can be suspended on the lifting beam of the conveyor with a lifting/lowering station at the combined feeding/removal station. A maximum part weight of 1,600 kg is possible per lifting beam. The lifting beam can be moved manually into the cleaning booth for pre-treatment. Depending on the parts geometry, cleaning can be done either with a mobile nozzle carriage or a high-pressure cleaner. The 3-zone degreasing, rinsing and DI-water rinsing generate the desired cleaning effect for a large number of steel and aluminium parts. The lifting beams are subsequently driven into the residual water dryer by the cross-transfer bridge. On expiry of the drying time, the parts proceed via the cooling station to the manual powder-coating booth, where they are coated. After coating, the powder is cured in one of the powder curing ovens.
