The plant concept, which was developed with the intensive collaboration of Robert Lumpi from the Coating Academy as project planning partner, focuses on optimal working conditions with regard to noise and air conditioning as well as high flexibility with regard to colour variety and seasonal utilisation rates. The very compact plant for 6-metre profiles features a GSB-compliant, wastewater-optimised pre-treatment plant, a glass powder-coating booth with defined, filtered and conditioned supply air for manual, high-quality powder coating, a manual transfer conveyor with a large buffer and a double dryer/oven combination, which can be used flexibly as a double or single dryer/oven depending on the utilisation rate and manpower. The hall and the powder-coating booth are heated in winter and cooled in summer by means of geothermal energy. The exhaust air heated by the powder filter can be fed outside directly above the roof in summer.
