Your tasks
- Responsibility for the complete order processing including complaints handling and invoice control
- Conducting price negotiations and concluding contracts
- Optimisation of procurement procedures, product groups and processes
- Supplier selection, maintenance and qualification within the product groups
- Master data creation and maintenance within the product groups
- Evaluation of make or buy decisions in cooperation with the departments
- Conclusion of quality agreements
Your qualifications
- (Technical) business economist or purchaser with several years of professional experience in (project) purchasing in mechanical and plant engineering
- Strong negotiating skills, assertive and confident in closing deals
- Structured, analytical and resilient personality
- Communication skills and commitment
- Knowledge of the relevant procurement markets is an advantage
- Knowledge of ERP system AMS desirable - but not a requirement
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of purchasing and contract law
